It is difficult for me to decide how I REALLY look like....

    I know the trouble with trying to know how you look. Through the many self portraits I have painted I am always different and in essence I think it is the feel of our prana that creates our look.
    If you have ever looked at a corpse the most shocking aspect is how they dont resemble the the person that once inhabited the body.
    The problem with a photograph is that it captures a moment. What a person looks like is found within a sum of moments. Its the part that doesn't change as the face is pulled into many different expressions. It is felt rather than seen through the eyes of our perception.
    To capture that feel in a photograph/painting is pure magic.
    In your photo the eyes have it.

    I'm just struck by how darn handsome you look!
    I agree that the eyes 'get you' in this picture. Clint Eastwood eat your heart out.

    I think Lucille is a very gifted painter.
    It is a very good likeness of you Fausto. How she has captured the eyes is particularly good. Gosh. I cannot paint or draw myself, the connection of the eyes to the movements of paint via the hands to canvas always amazes me.
